Why the United Nations should be scrapped

The purpose of the UN was never to keep world peace, but to selectively use its power against countries and leaders who will not surrender their land to the "International Community," which is in reality a cabal of dangerous political manipulators who want to run every country and gain control of their assets.

Robin Cook  was a member of the International Community's self-chosen elite.  While he was Foreign Secretary he carried on the practice of selectively condemning regimes - not because they were bad, but because they failed to co-operate fully with the world's internationalist dictators.  Cook had refused on several occasions to intervene in Zimbabwe and put an end to the mass killings that were being carried out by Mugabe and his henchmen.  Although he was happy to intervene in the civil war in Sierra Leone, where he could not have any positive effect.  Part of the aid money which Britain had given to that country was knowingly being used to buy guns for use in a civil war.

Robin Cook took delight in initiating the war against Slobodan Milosovic and his army, giving the impression that he was doing so to prevent injustice against a civilian population.  However the real reason slipped out in a press statement that he gave where he said - We are justifying our action to the world by insisting that Britain had to stop Fascism. This makes it a war against opposing ideas and not oppression.  Soon after this incident Robin Cook overlooked the atrocities and breaches of international law that had been committed by Chinese President Jiang Xemin and invited him to London, where he even had the cheek to introduce Xemin to the Queen.
