A disturbing sign of the times

Father Paul Bennett - stabbed to death

Geraint Evans, a drug-crazed Satanist viciously stabbed vicar Father Paul Bennett to death under sinister circumstances.  This was no spontaneous act.  The killer deliberately sought, for some time, to kill a Christian minister.  Evans had been watching Father Bennett, a family man, who was particularly popular among his community, for some weeks before the attack.

The Satanist stabbed the priest 22 times with a seven-inch blade, then calmly said to the man's wife who had witnessed the horrific incident "I have done what I have to do."  He then sat calmly on a churchyard seat, pleased with his murderous action.

Everything that happened in this horrific act was aided by recent acts of Parliament.  Satanists were accorded full protection under the law by way of new Human Rights laws, unlike Christians, who during the past ten years, have increasingly come under persecution.  The killer was crazed by use of cannabis, a substance that has been given the green light by Parliament.  The authorities were aware that Geraint Evans posed a threat to society but chose to do nothing about it.  The murderer has smoked cannabis and inhaled lighter fuel since his early teens.  He has eight convictions, including one for arson.  None of this was considered important enough to be brought up at his trial.

Successive governments have over the years, gradually diminished levels of punishment for violent criminals and murderers.  Sentences are now so minimal that they no longer act as a deterrent against acts of violence. Any sensible person could see what such drastic liberalising of penalties would do. One can only conclude that a rapid increase in criminal activity is what Parliament was aiming for.

Parliament has used immigrants to introduce a drug problem into our society.  As soon as drugs became available on the streets, left-wing propagandists and media celebrities glamorised and encouraged their use.  That no serious action was taken over the schizophrenic's arson attack is not surprising.  During the past three years we have had numerous reports of attempted arson attacks, where police officers have just shrugged their shoulders and said they were too busy to investigate.  The authorities often show a similar disinterest in tracking down drug-dealers, while teaching staff pretend that drug problems do not affect their school, when clearly they do.

All those who find the current situation unacceptable need to make their feelings known.  If they do not, that comparatively small group of people who want to break down society will continue to have their way.
